Memory

Those twinkling beautiful eyes;
From the days I had first seen,
Many unspeakable truth lie;
Which define what love means.

That beautiful broad smile
Add the glowing expression on her face.
Brightens the surrounding more than a mile;
Makes my heart lose its regular pace.

I was always amused;
Seeing her face; burdened with anger.
I always had the impulse
To stare at her longer; indeed longer.

All these days;
I was unable to utter anything.
The untold tale, with me stays;
I can hear my heart sing.

I came across the conclusion;
Life is just a book of tales;
But nothing more,
And love is just the confusion;
Which becomes the memory of the yore.

Peace

Each second passing,
As the grains of sand;
Rolling out from the grip of fist,
And re- uniting with the land.

No trace of any living being,
As far as the vision captures; bare ground.
Bare sky without any birds flying;
Pin drop silence; can’t hear any sound.

Only the sound that touches the ear;
The rattling of weapons;
And the commotion of fear,
And the cry of widows and orphans.

What good is the war?
Shedding of blood and tear;
Corpse lying near and far,
And those alive, living with fear.

Let’s all unite,
And put hand on hand.
Put an end to all this fight,
And make our planet a better land.
